Shannon McLoud (Artistic Director, Co-Founder) Shannon is a founding member of Radioactive Theatre Company. Previously she co-founded 3heARTS Productions, located in Rhode Island. Shannon has directed with various theatres throughout Rhode Island. Most recently, Mac…Beth?! and Carol’s Christmas, both with 3heARTS Productions. Shannon has also directed selections for Insert Title Here and Insert Title Here Part Deux both with the Studio Repertory Company, New Play Festival with Little Theatre in Danielson, CT and Rudolf with All Children’s Theatre. On stage, some of Shannon’s favorite roles include Dotty in Noises Off, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, and Romaine Patterson in The Laramie Project.
Shannon also runs the drama department for a private school in Cranston, where she writes and directs six plays a year for over 50 students. Her plays have been performed with The Writer’s Circle, Studio Repertory, and 3heARTS Productions.
Shannon is committed to the cultivation of new works, and educating today’s youth about theatre.
Stephen Nani is the Entertainment Director and Co-Founder of Radioactive Theatre Company. Steve co-authored Mac..Beth?! with Shannon McLoud as well as the short film Rhode Trip,an entrant in the Providence 48 Hour Film Festival. Rhode Trip was Steve's directorial debut. Guido's - Scenes From a Restaurant is the third writing collaboration between Steve and Shannon. Guido's will mark Steve's debut as a play director.
Steve is planning the Winter Comedy Showcase and has begun writing his next play, Writer's Block, along with Shannon.
